Opportunity for Exceptional Women in Tech

Zinc are seeking women in tech to join their next Venture Builder! The VC company, which exists to build and scale a brand-new way to solve the world’s most important societal problems, grants the Rose Acton Award to one exceptional woman tech Founder on every Venture Builder. Zinc recently launched their sixth Venture Builder with the mission to transform people’s financial resilience and empower them to turn uncertainty into opportunityThe Venture Builder is a full-time, 12-month platform that supports 70 talented individuals to create impactful, scalable change in the world by building commercial businesses from scratch. Their sixth Venture Builder will start in April 2023 in Zinc’s London HQ.

Zinc offers individuals on the Venture Builder:

🚀A cohort of 70 world-class talented people from which to find their co-Founder

🚀 Investment of up to ~£250,000 

🚀 Access to an extensive and active network of experts, mentors, coaches and investors, plus Zinc’s in-house R&D team

🚀 A £12,000 stipend for the first 6 months

🚀 Free working space in central London to collaborate, learn and build

They are seeking exceptional women in technology for this cohort and will grant the Rose Acton Award to one of them. The award is named after their former colleague Rose, who believed strongly in financial inclusion and the empowerment of women through technology. Rose sadly passed away in 2020. 

The recipient must display Rose’s attributes of passion, grit and courage, and will receive:

⚡An additional £12,000 stipend across the first six months of Zinc’s Venture Builder to assist with living costs

⚡An additional six-month personal stipend

⚡A full year of individual support as they find their co-Founder and establish their business
