Silver Lake Distinguished Scholars Program

Program Description

Silver Lake is a global technology investing firm with 20+ years of history making notable investments in market-leading franchises—such as Alibaba, Dell Technologies, GoDaddy, Celonis, Skype, Airbnb, and Twitter —in partnership with world-class management teams.

Silver Lake originally launched its Distinguished Scholars Program in 2020 for U.S. university students, and is delighted to now announce the inaugural London Distinguished Scholars Program for European university students. The program is a virtual year-long curriculum targeting high-achieving female students who wish to learn about private equity investing at a leading global investment firm. Silver Lake will be admitting 6-8 Distinguished Scholars across top- tier universities in Europe to learn about Silver Lake and private equity from our full-time professionals. The 2023-24 programme will feature quarterly virtual sessions over zoom and a multi-day live component taking place towards the end of the summer / beginning of autumn hosted in our London office. Distinguished Scholars will gain insights to our firm’s business, industry, and culture and receive training and direct mentorship from our investment team and other professionals. Exceptional Distinguished Scholars will come out of this program with a unique and differentiated experience and may be considered for a future full-time position with the firm.
