The McCall MacBain Scholarships are Canada’s first
comprehensive, leadership-driven scholarships for master’s and
professional degree studies.
Funded in perpetuity, the McCall MacBain Scholarships are the
result of a $200-million gift by John and Marcy McCall MacBain
and their Foundation in 2019. At the time, it was the largest
single donation in Canadian history.
The McCall MacBain Foundation’s mission is to improve the
welfare of humanity by providing scholarships and other
educational opportunities that nurture transformational
leadership, and by investing in evidence-based strategies to
address climate change, preserve the natural environment, and
improve health outcomes.
