The Accuracy Business Cup 2023

For the eighth year running, Accuracy is organising the Accuracy Business Cup (ABC), an international business case competition involving students from top universities across the globe, including France, Spain, Germany, Italy, Canada, India and Morocco. The UK finals of the ABC will take place in early February 2023, with an international final competition in March 2023.

The competition is aimed at challenge-seeking, eager-to-learn students, ideally in their penultimate or final year of studies, and provides an opportunity to gain exposure to a real-life international finance and strategy project. Participating students will have the opportunity to present their cases to the senior management of an international listed company and to be coached by senior Accuracy consultants. Historically, partner companies have included LVMH, L’Oreal, Michelin and Pernod Ricard. In addition, the ABC is a great opportunity for students to stand out from their peers and to get an offer for an internship or full-time position!

To apply to the Accuracy Business Cup, students will be required to enter a team of three and submit their application on https://abc.accuracy.com/apply/ before 31 January 2023.

PHASE 1: NATIONAL COMPETITION (dates TBC)

10th February 2023: Kick-off for selected teams (CASE 1).

Teams will be given background information regarding a real-life business case pertaining to an international listed company and provided with instructions for the case alongside relevant case material.

Mid-February 2023: Deadline for the submission of the presentation (+ CASE 2).

Accuracy consultants will select the three best written presentations (to be provided in Powerpoint or Word format) and provide a second business case to the finalists.

Mid-February 2023: In-person coaching of UK finalists and presentation to a panel comprising Accuracy partners/consultants & a representative of the international listed company

Awards ceremony and cocktail event in our offices (with prizes!)

PHASE 2: INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION (dates TBC)

March 2023: CASE 3

A final business case will be given to the winning team of each country. They will have one week to prepare the case under the guidance of their Accuracy coach before flying to Paris to compete against the winning teams from other countries.

March 23rd 2023: International final in Paris

All transportation and accommodation costs for the international final competition will be paid for by Accuracy.
