The King’s College London MRC Doctoral Training Partnership

The King’s College London MRC Doctoral Training Partnership (DTP) is advertising it’s final few fully funded iCASE PhD Studentships for October 2022 entry. The application deadline is Thursday 7 July 2022 23:59pm GMT. We are grateful to your institution for circulating this advertisement to your student community.

The objective of our DTP is to select the best students and provide them with excellent training, tailored flexibly to their individual needs and interests. We will equip them with the intellectual and technical skills that are needed for the future of research and complement this with key transferable skills to ensure that they emerge as well-rounded scientists, prepared for their next career stage.

Industrial CASE studentships (Collaborative Awards in Science and Engineering) allow postgraduate research students to receive high quality research training in collaboration with a commercial or other non-academic partners. The studentships are part-funded by Research Councils together with the partner and include stipend, tuition fees and other project costs.  The partner can specify a research project that will be of importance to them and they must also provide a placement at their premises, and a supervisor, for the student.
